This is Cruden Farm, a property bought by Keith Murdoch in 1928 for his wife, Elizabeth. She lived here for many decades until her death in 2012. For over 40 years, Dame Elizabeth developed this 20 acre garden together with gardener, Michael Morrison.

THE STABLES- using stones from the Moorooduc quarry which is why it is of a different colour.

THE DRIVEWAY- made out of more than 130 lemon scented gum trees.

My pleasure to share, Dan. We went there to do some sketching so I wasn’t able to roam around the whole place. Maybe the next time I can see it all.

As i’ve told Dan, I will try to go back to see the place in its entirety. I heard that there’s also a lake so I still have to see that. Thanks Natalie.
