Surprise Discoveries

I am not a very good cook, but I try my best for my family. And during this time of isolation because of COVID 19, I have discovered something that I didn’t know I could do. I don’t buy bread from the shops anymore, because I am proud to say that I bake my own bread. I know it’s just not me, because I have heard in some morning show that google searches for making bread has spiked up by so much, flour has been out of stock in supermarkets and yeast is unavailable too.

Ordinarily, I really don’t like doing this stuff because there are so many steps in doing it and lots of waiting for the dough to rise.

But surprise… surprise, I have discovered that kneading is quite relaxing and I am loving the smell of freshly baked bread.

So this is my take on Sandy’s Friendly Friday: COVID Discoveries

This is the pizza that I made with homemade dough. I am very proud of it because it looks so pretty and my husband said that it was yum.

These are some of my creations during this month of Isolation. Some of them are made of dough, but others are desserts that I have been craving for from the Philippines.

So there you go… if you need some recipes just ask me. 😋
