Oh, Is it Mother’s Day Already?

“A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.” — Tenneva Jordan

I have been missing Tim for so long already and little by little and slowly I am getting used to not being with him. December 2018 at the Heathrow Airport, was the last time that I was able to give him a long and tight hug. But in this extraordinary times and not being able to celebrate Mother’s Day with Patricia, is like going through it all over again. 😢 Video calls and messages aren’t exactly the same, but I guess I have to be content with that for now.

Knowing that all the mums in the world are feeling the same way as I do doesn’t make it any easier. But I am feeling hopeful that things will get back to as it was sometime very soon. 🤍 you kiddos to the moon and back.

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone celebrating it with me today! Virtual hugs to you 👋🏼
