“Our homes are not defined by geography or one particular location, but by memories, events, people, and places that span the globe.” -Marilyn Gardner
I now consider Australia home since I have been living here for more than half of my life. But I can’t help but become teary eyed every time I think of the Philippines.
The whole family is supposed to be going for a holiday next year to the Philippines … but that doesn’t seem to be happening now. But thanks to Frank, I can share with you one of the beautiful spot in my native land. This is for Franks’s Tuesday Photo Challenge – Return to My Native Land
This is Lake Pandin, located in San Pablo, Laguna, a province in the Philippines. When we went there in 2016, the weather cooperated with us…and the lake was just so peaceful.
Went there with my family, we rented a raft and had some coconut juice. Those were fun memories.
It’s a nice place. I found the water very calm, thinking of the sea, but it’s a lake, not the usual Philipine view. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for liking it. It can be wild at times when the weather is rough, but luckily it wasn’t.

Lucky you were able to go before the lockdowns. Will see how we go. If you can go by the end of the year, then I can go in January-Feb in 2021…. we just have to have positive thoughts 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Yes, though both of my parents have passed on, I still go back home every two years but recently I haven’t been back since 2016 😢
