Through the Doors of Prague

“Prague; the city so beautiful that it was spared by Hitler… or so the story goes. Prague is a living and breathing enigma; old and dirty but somehow unimaginably graceful.”-world of Wanderlust

It’s not a secret that Prague is my perspective of a happy place…winding cobbled streets, its old and new doors, its textured walls, its arched entries…

This is for Norm’s weekly Thursday Doors Challenge and for BeckyB’s 2nd to the last day of July Squares- SquarePerspectives

Unfortunately not near Prague, I am in southern England for most of the time, and otherwise in southern Portugal. Wish I was near by

I guess because I live so far, any country in Europe seems near each other in my perspective. hahaha

hee hee, yes can understand that. My sister inlaw would think nothing of travelling a few hundred miles, whereas for us that seems a major undertaking!

The green door decorated with the flower boxes and wreaths reminds me of many doors along italian streets. Such a lovely way to feel welcomed before ever entering a space.
