There Was An Owl

“There was an owl who lived in an oak.
The more he heard, the less he spoke;
the less he spoke, the more he hears-
We all should be
like that wise old bird.” – an old nursery rhyme

I don’t when and how and why it started, but I love owls.

Around the house you can find it in every nook and cranny.

Some are ceramics, some are made of wood, some have feet hanging and some are owl designed mugs…

“I just freaking love owls, OK?”

  1. Wow Teresa, you do indeed love owls! These are wonderful – I especially loved those that hang over the windows. Have you seen many in person/first hand? We had a nest nearby some years ago and the little owlets were so fuzzy and adorable!

  2. This is wonderful, Teresa! I love that you have an owl obsession. My husband’s is pigs!! We have pared down his collection at times, but they are tucked away all over our house. The window provided great lighting and a beautiful backdrop for your images.
