“Wherever I wander, wherever I rove, The hills of the Highlands forever I love.” – Robert Burns
A few hours drive to escape the busy Glasgow and Edinburgh scenario. That is what we did with my cousins, who took us on a Road trip to the Highlands.
It is bittersweet memories for me because my cousin in law, who patiently took us around while we were in Scotland, is not with us anymore. Rick was such a jolly and a lovely person to be with. He was our driver, our whiskey connoisseur, our travel guide all rolled into one. ❤️ Thanks Connie and Rick for wonderful memories…
Lock after lock and mountains after mountains, that is our vacation memory of the Highlands. It is Tranquility at its finest…
