The Windows of the Vatican

The St Peter’s Basilica is a Renaissance style church located in the Vatican City in Rome. It is the iconic symbol of the Vatican and is one of the most spectacular buildings in Rome. The city is guarded by the Vatican Swiss guards, who also act as bodyguards to the Pope.

Monday Windows

Here in one of these windows, I believe on the top floor on the right side of the building, the Pope comes out and waves to the people of the St Peter’s Square and gives his blessing.
