Kinda Sweet

“A great many things can be resolved with kindness even more with laughter. But there are some things that just require cake.”

It is not just the kind of sweetness that comes from sugar that I am talking about, but it is the care and the attention to details that my daughter put into making this cake for her good friend that made this a sweet gesture. She is not into making cakes and desserts so that is more extra sweetness from her to be able to do this.

This was made of two chocolate cakes with chocolate buttercream frosting. She made the mushroom with the frosting and food colouring and froze it so it will maintain its shape. She carved the choc frosting with a fork to make it look like a tree trunk. And those are edible flowers and edible butterflies with crumbled Flake topping.
