“If the house of the world is dark, love will find a way to create windows.” – Rumi
This is a dramatic street art of a magpie with a rose on its beak, in the corner of Westdarth and Brunswick Streets in Fitzroy. It is a wonderful Mural by David ‘MEGGS” Brooke, an Australian artist, known for his large scale murals and detailed paintings. I love that it is set amidst the windows of a building, which gave it more character.
One of my favorite birds. Cute.

It’s beautiful Teresa, love magpies. We have some across the road in a park and they come to my driveway to be fed some nuts.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals. The Linky tool guy has sent me the background to the published murals where I found this one. He thinks it’s a Blogger problem as he was contacted by various people who are on blogger today about link problems.
