“The earth is a fine place and worth fighting for.” – Ernest Hemingway
2017 was the year that I had my stroke and it was also the same time that Pat started her trek in Nepal. She was thinking twice about continuing her trip but I told her to enjoy herself and not to worry about me.
Through my days of recovery, what made me feel better was the company of my hubby and friends, the constant video calls of my son, Tim and the photos that Pat was sending me through messenger.

The earth through her eyes was just so awesome. It kept me going and it made me feel cheery. The wide, wide earth wth all the sky, the mountains, the bodies of water and how Pat seemed so tiny amidst the backdrop of the world.

An awesome thing for her to do. So glad you recovered well!

Magnificent images of the sky, the mountains, river… Nepal is a special place. It take much effort to clumb up there to see these stuning views. These photos tell great stories of earth. Thank you for sharing, Teresa.

I heard that you needed great stamina and a good mindset to be able to reach the top. So good job to my girl and thanks for liking it, Amy!

Beautiful captures of a place most of us will never see first-hand. Loved your featured image especially – and also the story of your daughter (?) helping to keep your spirits up as you recovered!

That is so true, most of us will not bet the chance to experience this. Every time I see these photos I feel so proud off my daughter for being able to do such an amazing thing! Thanks Tina.

I think her work is getting in the way of her photography. Maybe one day when her work is more secure, she’ll be able to do it again!
