“Embrace seasons and cycles of your life. There is magic in CHANGE.” – unknown
This is a bronze piece entitled Seasons by Leopoldine Mimovich, which is one of the focal points of the garden. This was carved from Huon Pine.

Below are the different seasons of a woman. I am not sure if that was the intention of the artist, but it is my personal take on this. It is a three sided sculpture one is a young woman, the second one looks like she’s on her 30s and the last looks like in her 50s.

I like your take. There is beauty in every season, and it is good to embrace that.

Yes and it will come around again soon enough. But not in the case of the woman.

Beautiful statue! I love your take on it, Teresa, though I’d make her closer to 70 on the last side. It’s a very unique piece and I love the artist’s nuances. The young girl side has an unfinished look around her neck and nose. The woman in her prime is finished, smooth, and shiny. I had to look at it several times. It’s not a statue you walk by and just say, “That’s nice,” and walk on to the next one. You keep coming back for another look. Thanks for sharing!

Oh that is true. My friends and I were staring at it and going around it over and over again. Thanks for analyzing with me, Marsha!
