The Dromana pier is located right at the heart of Dromana. Although it was cold that day, I enjoyed my walk with hubby along the beach.

The peninsula’s colourful bathing boxes can be found on the beaches from Dromana to Portsea. It has become a symbol of summer and is quite a tourist attraction. Although it is basically just a shed with no water or electricity, these houses are in high demand and is very pricey.

On the main shopping area I found this buzzing painting mural by artist Wina Jie on the side wall of the Bendigo Bank.

To have a break from my stroll, I found some benches.

It looks lovely! Good shot of the seagull taking off!

Great shot of the seagull! The colourful beach huts remind me of seaside places here in England 🙂

Lots of places on our coasts, especially in the south. I have some from Kent here: https://www.toonsarah-travels.blog/gallery-colourful-beach-huts-in-whitstable-and-broadstairs/

This is a wonderful post, Teresa. I love the bathing boxes, and the mural, but my favorite photo is the capture of that seagull. That’s an excellent photo.

Your heading captured my attention right off. The seagull snagged my heart. That was perfect. That’s the picture that marks you as a photographer – being at the right place at the right time and snapping the perfect shot. That picture will remain in people’s minds for a very long time. That said, I love the mural even more than the boxes. It is a lovely work of art as are the boxes. But the boxes don’t sit in that gorgeous sky. Excellent post, Teresa. 🙂

Thanks so much Marsha. Sometimes you get a shot that, though it may not be perfect, seems very catchy! And this seagull visited me in just the perfect time.
