Let us go for a walk

“Make a splash
Take time to reflect
Listen to nature
Reed more
Be green
Don’t get bogged down
What’s the rush?”
– YourTrueNature.com

Many times I have wrote about my journey overseas or my visit to nearby Melbourne streets or to some towns in Victoria, Australia.

But for Anne’s topic for this week, Local Vistas, I have decided to take you to my “go to” place when I am by my lonesome. I would often come here when my husband’s at work, or when I just want to have some “me time”.

This is also in connection to Jo’s Monday Walk

The wetlands was my constant companion during the pandemic but now that situations have somewhat gone back to some normalcy, I can revisit the places I used to spend hours and hours just sitting quietly. But this time the difference is, I can take you with me.

Also for Jez’s Water Water Everywhere

The wetlands won’t be wetlands without the local birds that make this their home.

This is the trail that I walk through…weeds, wood art, greeneries , wooden barks…

Some flowers along the way.

Birds and bees

And in a farm that is about half an hour walk or even a bit more… the vista with some friendly animals.

Wonderful walk through the wetlands, Teresa! Thanks for sharing— your photos show so much can be found in one beautiful place…. can’t fault you for making this your “go to” place.

Fantastic! Such a variety of plants, animals, birds, scenery, art… along the way. Like you, you could sit there and watch the day go by, just as much as walking the would captivate me. Very nice local vistas. Donna

Truly beautiful Teresa, I loved joining you on your walk. Much of it reminded me of my home on Kiawah. Unfortunately, we don’t have those adorable alpacas!!!

Are they llamas? They look the same as alpacas but in any which way they are cute!

But They’re so similar, that if you’re just an ordinary person you can’t know unless you ask the owners of the place haha
