Hawker style restaurant in a Melbourne alleyway

“You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.” – Paul Prudhomme

Last weekend was rainy and cold…but that didn’t stop us from catching up with Pat and trying out this famous Char Koay Teow place in the middle of the Melbourne CBD.

It was more than 30 minutes of wait as we were 15th on the queue. But the long line speaks for itself. Lulu’s Char Koay Teow’s menu is basically that and some other noodle dishes. But their Koay Teow dishes takes you back to the hawker markets of Malaysia.

This is for Ludwig’s Monday Windows
