Eat…Walk…Repeat

“First, we eat. Then, we do everything else.” – unknown

Last Saturday was a great weather weekend. So instead of fixing the tap on our kitchen sink (there’s a bit of dripping going on there), we opted for a better way of spending our day. I and hubby asked our besties to come with us to have lunch. Some photos I took for Jo’s Monday Walk, when I had a stroll on the main strip of Mornington.

Mornington is a popular sea-side holiday destination located in the southeast of Melbourne.

We arrived there nearly lunch time and I was craving for pizza and pasta. The chef outside was grilling something and the aroma really invited us in.

Inside, there were so much goodies. ..so tempting!

Not really a big walk this week but it was relaxing.

Spring blossoms

A small Buddha in the middle of the sidewalk.

Walking through Main Street were some windows of cafes for Ludwig’s Monday Windows

There were doors for an additional post for Dan’s Thursday Doors Challenge

Lots of Chairs for Xingfumama’s Pull Up a Seat Challenge

Murals and a variety of Public art for Marsha’s Photographing Public Art Challenge

Had ice cream

And then walked on the trail to have a view of the Mornington Penninsula for Jez’s Water Water Everywhere.

Goodness, I was too full to walk far, Teresa! But I did enjoy the blossom and that beautiful bay.

Teresa, you are the double-duty blogger this week. Isn’t it fun? That food looks so delicious, I think I’m going to pop over for a bite. Your public art section was my favorite, although the food and water vied for a close second, and I love all of those challenges. The little girl statue is adorable. I linked her for this week’s PPAC post on Friday.

  7. I found you on Jo’s page … and loved your walk. When there is food involved (that looks so delicious), flowers and a seat, it’s definitely a great walk in my books!
