A town named Szentendre

It was the 17th of November in 2018 when Jack and I visited Szentendre. It was just about 40 minutes away from Budapest and it was an optional activity for our tour of Central Europe. So glad that we joined, as this became one of the highlights of our trip.

For Dan’s Thursday Doors Challenge, he encourages us to share our favourite door photo for the year 2022. I have decided to share this quaint little town that has oodles and oodles of doors.

From churches…

to shops…

To alleyways and cobbled streets…

To regular houses…

And with that I want to wish you all a joyous, blessed and safe Christmas. See you all in the new year! 🎄

Thanks so much for sharing these favorites, Teresa. I love that street view with the colorful umbrellas overhead. You always bring us interesting doors and photos from delightful places (most of us will never see in person). I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to looking through your camera in 2023.

It is definitely a must see especially if you are going to Hungary. It is an artist’s town with many art galleries and as you can see…so much colour!

  11. What a gorgeous town! I’ve been only once to Budapest but didn’t manage any day-trips outside of the city. I guess I should plan another one 😀.
