Every year, in the past decade (maybe), Jack and I celebrated New Year’s Eve in different locations in Australia as long as there’s fireworks involved. We went to where we can view the show at its grandest!
But this year we decided that we have had enough of the crowds and we would just have a quiet dinner in a restaurant and stay at my sis in law’s place to wait for the New Year. But…. Can’t resist… From their house we walked a few minutes (about half an hour) to where we thought we can have a view of the fireworks.
But it wasn’t just us who had the same idea. When we got to the beachside walk, there were many people already on their positions waiting for the “time”.
Countdown began 5…4…3…2…1 Oopsies haha our view was so tiny. But of well.

Good you got to see fireworks
I managed to see a few from my bedroom window that were going off somewhere nearby, I thought I was very lucky as I was just about to go to bed 😂

Awww! Happy New Year, Teresa! Tavira put on a fabulous display. It was busy but not too crowded. Just a lovely atmosphere.
