Amidst the crazy and chaotic graffiti world in Brooklyn, Tim found these amazing true to life portraits on the walls by Jorit. Jorit Ciro Cerullo, professionally known as Jorit, is an Italian street artist.

Jorit pays tribute to Bayard Rustin, an African American leader in social movements for civil rights, socialism, nonviolence, and gay rights.

Jorit pays tribute to Lauryn Hil, an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and actress.

Jorit in collaboration with Tukios Art pay tribute to BlackStar, an American hip hop duo formed in 1996, from Brooklyn, New York City.

Lawrence “Kris” Parker (born August 20, 1965), better known by his stage names KRS-One and Teacha, is an American rapper from New York.
