Washing line is a usual site in the Philippines #washingline #clothes
A man selling “Walis” or broom … still on the streets of Vigan.
The popular Calle Crisologo in Ilocos Sur. It looks like it was taken out of a movie scene, with its ancestral homes and cobblestone streets that perfectly capture the Spanish colonial period.
“Mamang Sorbetero” or ice cream man in the corner of Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
Another street series from Makati. Food sellers with their own carts and colourful umbrellas … They stay there until their wares are finished for the day, rain or shine or extreme heat!
More for my houses and washing line series from the Philippines.
A neighbourhood shop with random things that you can buy. Lots if washing left to dry too! This is in Makati, Philippines.
“Mamang Basurero” : (garbage man) A decent occupation in the Philippines… a man collecting rubbish in Manila.
A view of the Taal Volcano from the Orlina Museum in Tagaytay.

Some are well preserved… And some needs some reconstruction… but the vintage look and exposed bricks give it […]

This is the UNESCO World Heritage City of Vigan, Established in the 16th century, this is the best-preserved Spanish colonial town in Asia. Calle Crisologo, the main street that is only open to pedestrians and horse drawn carriages, looks like […]

Last Day in Santiago

Last Day in Santiago

(Road Trip Part 3) It is our last day in Santiago, Ilocos Sur so I wanted to have a time all to myself for a change. I wandered off around the grounds of Vitalis Villas before breakfast and savoured the sun, the wind and the sky. I didn’t realise it but I may have stood […]
