When I first saw the theme of the challenge for this week, I was confused as to what direction I was going to take. There were so many different ways of tackling the subject.
But it was a Sunday and my hubby and I decided to go for a weekend walk to relax. So there you go… the beach in Frankston was were I got my inspiration.

And yet again… I used my iphone for these challenge(s). Lighting, location, time of day and the angle of the camera play a pivotal part in setting the mood of a photo. The magic happens the moment I press the shutter.
Started our walk at Olivers Hill Beach in Frankston, where I saw these cute public art. At first I thought it was just birds but upon closer look I saw miniature art pieces in there as well.

At the foreshore is a Crab Sculpture “Crab Riders” by Gillie & Marc.
Crossed this boardwalk to go to a restaurant for lunch.

Walked our way to an almost empty beach because it was quite cold even though it was sunny.

Going over this arch again to go to the jetty.
It was high tide so it was hard to go under the boardwalk without getting splashed over. I remembered going here before and I was able to stand straight underneath.
Enjoying the day with hubby… seeing the blue sky, watching the birds flying… is always special and lovely.

Saw many people fishing at the pier.
On the way back I was surprised to see this flock of birds which was just hovering overhead. They were just there so I rushed to catch a photo of them.
That was my day and it was great… hope you have a wonderful week my friends.
So many wonderful photos Teresa 😉

Haha it looks a bit confronting through my lens but it wasn’t in reality. Thanks Sofia for the comment and the challenge for this week!
