Framing my Travels

Sometimes intentionally but most times unintentionally, I use arches and openings on walls to frame my subject. For me, the purpose of framing is to guide the viewer’s eyes to what I want to emphasise and ultimately create a better composition because of it.

Some of these photos I have used before but bear with me if I am using it again for this topic.

    Excellent examples of framing! I suspect you do this not so much unintentionally as instinctively 🙂 I love the Charles Bridge and Vienna shots in particular.

    I love that you are deliberate in your look through windows, bridges, doors… frames. You have captured beautiful parts of city with parts of the city. Charles Bridge was a favorite, but, I love them all Teresa.
