These are countryside sceneries from the car window on our way to Edinburgh from York. It is just so lovely to have spent this time with my son even just for a few days. Glad he agreed to be our driver for this road trip.

Lovely countryside. “Drive-by shooting” can be very rewarding as your delightful photos show.

The art is a piece called the Angel of the North and was constructed to celebrate the millennium. Iconic.

That public art is Anthony Gormley’s Angel of the North, welcoming people to Gateshead and Newcastle. A special sight for us as we drive to Newcastle so often.

Glad I was able to catch it in between my naps.

Noted re new site. Does that replace this one or will you keep both running?

It serves as a replacement for this one. My son configured it to align the two sites, but updating this version cannot be done due to lack if space.

Clever son! I went to follow it and I already am, so even your followers have transferred across 🙂

Yes it did. I asked Jetpack to help me out and they did in less than 24 hours.
