Blue Skies for Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s day to all the hardworking, persevering, caring, loving, funny Mothers out there from all parts of the world! Hope your day was/is great!

This is my blue skies for Hammad Rais’ Weekend Sky Challenge.

Opposite the cafe where we had lunch!

Lunch at a pretty pink cafe called Feekah. Thanks to my kids Pat and Tim for making this day extra special… and of course to hubby Jack who is always there for me/us! Love you all.

Then after, had a walk in the grounds of the Abbotsford Convent… will post it soon.

Oh do you? My son didn’t tell me that. Anyway…everyday should be mother’s day haha
I thought it was just our Father’s Day that is on a different day. Thanks Sarah.

Yes, our MOther’s Day (aka Mothering Sunday) is always the middle Sunday in Lent. It’s traditionally a religious festival and was the one day during Lent when maids and other servants were allowed a day off to go and visit their mothers.
